Sage wants to investigate and understand, but it turns out to be bigger than anything she or Neon could have prepared for. It speaks of strange things happening in a strange town. In the middle of a wasteland, Sage and Neon hear a strange disembodied voice- a radio show. “I hope the words I speak are the ones that you truly hear. She’s not sure what this silver-tongued goddess on the radio wants to convey. “Why can we see? What do we hear? Do we breathe, do we taste? Do we all see the same colors as each other? Do we perceive the world together? Am I, my dear listeners, real? Are you? Do you truly ever own anything?" Sage’s brows furrow. It sends shivers down Sage’s back and she’s not entirely sure why. The speaker pauses for a moment, the silence stretching long enough that she leans in out of anticipation. Every syllable buries itself deep into Sage’s bones. “-listeners, do you see? Did you hear?” The voice is deep, honey-smooth. ![]()
